 Cannot be. You are installing via_drv.so elsewhere, or svn-upping the
 wrong dir.  First remove your currrent
 /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/via_drv.so, then do the svn up &&
 ./configure --prefix=/usr && make && make install again.  Then reboot, or
 make sure X is killed before starting it.
