I got a reply about S-Video and HDTV output.  I just want to make
clear, I can't ever get anything.  I cannot get into X.  As soon as I
startx, the screen goes out-of-sync and I just see a bunch of lines
going corner to corner across the screen.  Like really old-school
cable if you didn't have the box, it would go out-of-sync and you
could sort of make out a picture if you watched long enough.  It's
like that but digital, so it's got sharp edges and is completely
unwatchable, but I can see when stuff moves because the pixels change
colors.
