You're not saying exactly which graphic "card".  Give the precise 
chip number, and maybe also name/type of motherboard.  Also, attach 
your full xorg.conf, plain.  And attach a full Xorg.0.log, gzipped.

Better first subscribe to the mailing list, it makes communicating 
much easier.  Forum interfaces annoy me.

Probably that Suse disables 3D accelaration for VIA chips somewhere 
on purpose, to avoid user boxes locking up.  Better no 3D than the 
frustration of a frozen box and the risk of file system damage.
