[Openchrome-users] the picture wraps around the screen

Hello all!
This is on a Jetway Board with CN700 chipset.
when i run mplayer with the -monitoraspect option i get this[1] output
picture on the tv (the picture wraps around the screen). without the
monitoraspect option the output is ok[2], but the aspect is wrong (i get
horizontal black bars on the tv).
the output resolution of the pc is 1024x768, and the test video[3] has a
resolution of 1200x672.
this happens with all video files that have more than 1024 vertical
lines - videos that are smaller than 1024x768 work fine.
if i specify the -screenw 1024 and -screenh 768 command line options the
problem still remains, but with -screenw 800 and -screenh 600 it works
(but the picture is not fullscreen).
i think this is a driver issue, because if i take a screenshot while
playing the movie the resulting images look good[4][5] in the
screenshots but bad on the screen (if this assumption is wrong please
tell me, so i can submit the bug to mplayer).

am i the only one having this issue?
can someone else please try to reproduce it?
- download the video (direct link[6])
- set your screen resolution to 1024x768
- run: mplayer -v -monitoraspect 16:9 -fs 1087371.divx

thanks for your help.
