Hiyo,
I have recently bought a MSI Fuzzy CN700T Mini-ITX board [1] and
have just installed Debian Etch with its X.org on it. I have then
obtained a SVN snapshot (rev 378, http://svn.openchrome.org/svn)
to come up with a driver for the graphics chip.
In /var/log/Xorg.0.log, the following line is written:
(EE) VIA(0): Unknown Card-IDs (1462|7199); please report to
<openchrome-users at openchrome.org>
and so I thought I'd report it :-)
Quick summary:
- chip is a recent CN700 variant
- first tests show that driver works fine with VGA output
- DVI output not supported (delivers blank screen)
- the motherboard has connectors for VGA, DVI and S-VHS
output; S-VHS not (yet) tested.
I will also send the Xorg.0.log, if anyone is interested.
bye,
Philipp K?ser
