I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pro V2055 laptop, with a Via Unichome
VN800 chipset and a widescreen 1280x800 display.
I have compiled the openchrome driver, and it successfully detects my
chipset and works fine on 1280x768 resolution.
I have put a modeline in xorg.conf for 1280x800, but the mode seems to be rejected for some reason.
xorg.conf looks like this:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Generic Monitor"
Option "DPMS"
# 1280x800 @ 60.00 Hz (GTF) hsync: 49.68 kHz; pclk: 83.46 MHz
Modeline "1280x800_60.00" 83.46 1280 1344 1480 1680 800 801 804 828
-HSync +Vsync
EndSection
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Device "Generic Video Card"
Monitor "Generic Monitor"
DefaultDepth 24
SubSection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1280x800_60.00"
EndSubSection
EndSection
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is what is in Xorg.0.log:

Thanks
