Hmm. Yes, that is accepted according to Xorg.0.log.
Unfortunately, the screen is complete messed up.

It works with 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768. Anything above that
gives garbage on my laptop display.

I can't manage to get a decent display quality, 1024x768 is usable,
but fonts look terrible on that resolution.

Another thing I noticed is that I also get the same messed up
display when running games like supertux.
