[Openchrome-users] Cannot return to console + some other problems

A very poor way of doing so is to use glxgears. This will give you a
very, very rough estimate of your 3D performance.

A better suggestion would be to use a native game like Quake 3, Unreal
Tournament 2004 or similar, although they are quite demanding.
