[Openchrome-users] issues with a VIA Chrome9 HC IGP (1106:3371)

I downloaded yesterday the latest svn driver (rev 280M)  and after tinkering a  bit with  the  PCI ids , I managed to get it to work with this card, i.e. modifying/adding the following lines in the vt3336 branch:

via_id.h:
#define PCI_CHIP_VT3336         0x3371 /* K8M890 */

There is only a small (but very annoying) issue: when exiting from gnome, or using CTRL-ALT-Backspace, the system always hangs showing only my background pic (I gather hangs exiting from Xorg). Searching the maillist, there was a similar bug with K8M890 (http://openchrome.org/trac/ticket/86) but seems corrected in svn 280M. Tried forcing again the soft reset instruction, with no improvement.

It fails even with dri and glx modules commented and the "NoAccel" option enabled.
