Try with a non-reduced blanking modeline ?

Agreed, some names could certainly be added here. It'll need some 
history check first.

Maybe too, but I mostly see openchrome as the development ground for the 
xorg driver, the situation with the 4 different drivers (VIA, xorg, 
unichrome, openchrome) is already confusing enough w/o adding to it.

Oh, and btw, I'm not building my set of RPMS against FC7 yet, but 
everything is fine with the FC6 ones. Take a look if you hadn't since a 
while.
