Also, FWIW I get mixed results with MythTV SVN on my Via hardware.
Instead of running SVN I run the -vid branch which fixes a lot of bugs
in mythtv on Via hardware.

Also, I tend to use Xine to check if XvMC is indeed working and
enabled properly as Mplayer seems to be a little hit and miss as well.
