Thanks for the information, Xavier. Good to hear that the bug is known
and it will be fixed either in openChrome or in kernel modules. By the
way, I think that you have already seen, but maybe for others: there
is an open ticket in openChrome trac about this problem:

Feel free to contact me if any additional information is needed, I'm
interesting in helping you out. For statistics: my kernel is
2.6.23-gentoo-r1, so this is almost unpatched vanilla 2.6.23.
