I have upgraded to latest trunk version, but still have lots of trouble
getting this to work on my EX15000. I am using the S-Video output to a
widescreen CRT PAL TV. I am trying to use 720x576, but it seems to
refuse to do interlaced mode. The same resolution in non-interlaced mode
works, but my TV is not very happy about that.

Could you share [relevant parts of] your xorg.conf file?

I also see "(WW) VIA(0): [XvMC] Not supported on this chipset." in the
log. Is that still the status quo? (I have not looked much into that
yet, first I'd like to get the screen working).
