I has tried the experiment svn code,
in Xorg.log, it shows:

(--) VIA(0): Detected VIA Technologies VT1625 TV Encoder
(II) VIA(0): ViaTVInit
(II) VIA(0): ViaVT162xInit
(II) VIA(0): VT162xSave
(II) VIA(0): VT1625DACSense
(--) VIA(0): VT1625: Nothing connected.
(II) VIA(0): ViaOutputsSelect
(II) VIA(0): ViaOutputsSelect: X Configuration: 0x04
(II) VIA(0): ViaOutputsSelect: BIOS Initialised register: 0x07
(WW) VIA(0): Unable to activate TV encoder: no cable attached.
(II) VIA(0): ViaOutputsSelect: CRT.

But, I have connected a TV(not S-Video)..
Anybody can help me?
