[Openchrome-users] OQO external monitor works, internal does not

I have some OQO mod 2 pocket computers. They have a builtin 5" screen
that if you use the vesa driver you only get 600x480 no matter what you try.

Oh, these units have the CX700M2 UniChrome PRO II chip.

For Centos 5.2 I have added the
xorg-x11-drv-openchrome-0.2.901-2.el5.i386.rpm

And for Fedora 10 it comes with
xorg-x11-drv-openchrome-0.2.903.fc10.i386.rpm

On the 2 OQOs I have these distros with the openchrome drivers I can get
1024x768 on the external monitor (highest I have tried, I have received
an 'alert' that optimum for my external monitor is 1680x1050).

But the internal monitor is out of sync, like a bad old TV....

I have tried setting it down to 600x480. I have tried booting the
system without an external monitor. The internal continues to run out
of sync. I REALLY need for the internal monitor to work at times, even
if it is 600x480! And I can't even turn off the internal monitor. I
have tried the keyboard option to switch between internal and external
video, and nothing happens (for either Centos or FC10). Also not the
key to rotate the screen 90 degrees.

I tried duo monitor, but that seems not to be working at all, or I am
doing something else wrong.

Can I have some pointers...
