#273: Kaffeine: Flashing pink line under video

openSUSE 11.1, with openchrome 0.2.903 binary from openSUSE repository.
 Board is PC-Chips V21G (iDOT PC2500E), chipset is CN700. Display is a 24"
 1920x1200 on analog VGA.

Everything has been smooth so far, thanks for the great work!

Nonetheless, I wouldn't be here if I didn't have anything to nag about ...

When kaffeine plays a DVD, there is a flickering line below the video. The
line is one pixel high and coloured pink, the overlay key color possibly.

The error is not visible as long as kaffeine sizes the window to fit the
video it plays; it becomes visible only when the window is taller than the
video in it, e.g. when setting kaffeine to fullscreen and playing a wide
aspect video on a not-so-wide-aspect screen.

A good way to reproduce the problem is to play a DVD 16:9 movie in
 fullscreen on a 16:10 display.

This leads me to believe that I see an extra line of overlay color, rather
than the video being one line short.
The symptom isn't there on my other machines (which use SiS and NVidia
graphics), so I'm pretty convinced it's not a kaffeine bug.

If you need any extra information, please let me know.

 cheers,
 Peter
