Hi Tobias,

You ranges look sensible (and work from me on a PX1000 with CX700M(2)). 
This is a shot in the dark by have you tried adding:

Option      "VBEModes"      "true"

to

Section "Device"

This is documented as preventing a similar black screen on DVI output.
