[Openchrome-users] dri on p4m900

Hi,
I have recently read some related posts here
(http://www.mail-archive.com/openchrome-users at openchrome.org/msg00390.html),
however following those instructions
(http://wiki.openchrome.org/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=P4M900)
doesn't work for me. xorg loads fine, however when trying to use dri
dmesg reports
[drm:via_verify_command_stream] *ERROR* Accelerated 3D is not
supported on this chipset yet.
and application (glxinfo, glxgears) reports:
