Because it doesn't work - glxgears crashes with a core dump.

I attached that before. Below is the output again. Direct rendering is
enabled but there appears to be 2 problems:
1. Everything I run (glxinfo, glxgears, driconf) seems to say
"fire_buffer: DRM_VIA_PCICMD returned -22" and
2. glxgears crashes with a core dump. (see below)
2. I notice whenever I run glxgears my Xorg.0.log says:
(W) CHROME(0): VIALoadPalette: Function not implemented for this chipset.
But I don't know whether this is relevant or not.
