Agreed.

I have just update my debian, and it broke my home-compiled openchrome.

I get
(EE) module ABI major version (1) doesn't match the server's version (2)
(EE) Failed to load module "openchrome" (module requirement mismatch, 0)
(EE) No devices detected.

I'm not sure what to do about it. Apparently, something in xorg was updated 
from version 1 to 2. It didn't help to recompile.

So, if you have a .dep package in working order I am interested. How can I 
help?
