All 4 have a pci express slot... and the PCI-E flavor is the only one 
with a VT8237R host bridge and your board seems to have a VT8237A, so 
you picked the only one I would have excluded ;-)
Anyway, the biostar web site has nice pictures of all the boards and one 
can clearly see the model is written in plain text on all of them. It 
would be nice if you can take a look on inside the box.

For the actual bug, could you please try again with the NoXVDMA option 
and another multimedia application ? Xine is probably a good choice. 
Some people are reporting issues with tvtime but success with xine. 
Maybe mythtv is affected in a similar way as tvtime.
