Mandriva on EPIA SP8000
Hello, I have an EPIA SP8000 board running Mandriva2008.1, chipset os the CN400 one. I am trying to get DVDs and mp4 files to play back with no skipping, but get an error when using mplayer:

[VD_FFMPEG] XVMC-accelerated MPEG-2.
[VD_FFMPEG] Trying pixfmt=0.
VDec: vo config request - 720 x 576 (preferred colorspace: MPEG1/2 Motion Compensation and IDCT)
Could not find matching colorspace - retrying with -vf scale...
Opening video filter: [scale]
The selected video_out device is incompatible with this codec.

I can play DVDs, but I have to use the unaccelerated codec and get alot of skipping. The monitor is an LG 19LS4, capable of 720p and 1440x900 resolutions. I an using the RGB connection, but could use the TV-Out to SCART connection if necessary.

I thinkI need to get the xorg.conf correct, but having tried most of the options, I suspect I'm missing something obvious.

Current Device Section (have tries several configs based on this) is:
Section "Device"
    Identifier "device1"
    VendorName "VIA Technologies, Inc."
    BoardName "S3 UniChrome-based cards with 3D support"
    Driver "openchrome"
    #Option "VBEModes" "true"
    Option "EnableAGPDMA" "on"
    Option "TVType" "PAL"
    #Option "TVType" "720p"
    Option "ActiveDevice" "CRT"
    Option "TVOutput" "RGB"
    #Option "AccelMethod" "exa"
    #Option "XvmcUsesTextures" "false"
EndSection

A relevant item from Xorg.0.log is
(--) CHROME(0): Using SSE YUV42X copy for video.
(II) CHROME(0): [XvMC] Registering chromeXvMCPro.
(II) CHROME(0): [XvMC] Initialized XvMC extension.
(II) CHROME(0): - Done
along with many confusing messages that suggest 1440x900 is obtainable, but I cannot tell what modeline was actually used.

Can anybody suggest how I would get accelerated mpeg2 and mp4 support working?

I will attach confs and logs.
