 No, not really, There is not enough manpower to really bother with 3D
 while the 2D driver is still missing a lot of features. However, I've
 heard something might be in the work for the coming months, but don't hold
 your breath. It doesn't hurt to file a bug at Mesa though, at least for
 later reference.
