 I confirmed the problem doesn't occur here with the svn743 package.

 First: please make sure that vesa/failsafe works in your machine in case
 you need recovery.

 If your system is 32bit download this:
 http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates/ubuntu/pool/main/x
 /xserver-xorg-video-openchrome/xserver-xorg-video-
 openchrome_0.2.903+svn741-1build1_i386.deb

 If it's 64bit download this:
 http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates/ubuntu/pool/main/x
 /xserver-xorg-video-openchrome/xserver-xorg-video-
 openchrome_0.2.903+svn741-1build1_amd64.deb

 Open it, then inside the application click Install. It'll warn that the
 package is unsigned; this is ok for this package.

 Please mark this issue resolved/fixed if it works for you :)
