that the openchrome ticket is to #324, not 345.
These tickets are presented as "KDE4 crashes", so to that extent telling
me to turn off AIGLX is indeed a workround, but it is ''not'' a fix! I'd
like working 3D as well, if possible.
[SupportedHardware] seems tells me that 3D should be OK on my hardware
(Unichrome Pro B, 1106:3344). If this is a known problem, it should be
disabled by default; If not, shall I create a ticket "AIGLX crashes X
server?"
Thanks. If you need logs, tell me what debug levels, etc you need or what
incantations to add to xorg.conf. I'm happy to test, but have no
experience with X.
