 I just compiled and tested rev #716. Unfortunately it didn't fix the
 error. Still freezing.
 Attached is backtrace.716.txt

 Let me know if other info would help to solve this. I have a complete
 testenvironment available, so debugging/extra logging versions are an
 option.
