 I have a VIA Epia EN-1200EG with a CN700 chip. The machine acts as
 webserver and HTPC as it is connected to a SDTV using a composite SCART-
 cable.

 I used to run Ubuntu 8.04 with revision 532 of the Openchrome driver (at
 least i think that is the version I was using) without any trouble.

 For different reasons I wanted to upgrade to latest Ubuntu (9.04) and now
 I get no video.

 What happens when GDM starts is...nothing. No image on TV, only
 flickering.
 Using "top" from ssh I can see that Xorg is started but it is constantly
 using 95-100% CPU.

 Since I did an upgrade my old kernel and drivers from Ubuntu 8.04 are
 still present on the system, and booting to that kernel gave me video
 back. Still, I would like to be able to use the correct kernel.

 It does not seem like TV-out is the culprit either, since removing
 everything in xorg.conf that has to do with TV (or even removing xorg.conf
 itself) still results in 100% CPU.

 I have attached my xorg.conf and the corresponding Xorg.0.log.
