[Openchrome-users] Still not getting this "reduced blanking" thing

I upgraded recently from FC8 to FC9 (x86_64) on a K8M800-based system:

xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.5.2-7.fc9.x86_64
xorg-x11-drv-openchrome-0.2.903-1.fc9.x86_64
xorg-x11-drivers-7.3-4.fc9.x86_64
(etc)

X11 stopped working immediately... issues with the font service not
finding the font "fixed", even though "xlsfonts" tells me that it's there...

Anyway, video modes that used to work now don't work any longer. I blew
away my xorg.conf file and started from scratch.

I added:

Option "ReducedBlanking" "true"

to the monitor section, but now I'm running into a different issue (logs
attached in full):

(II) CHROME(0): ViaValidMode: Validating 1920x1200 (154000)
(II) CHROME(0): ViaModePrimaryVGAValid
(II) CHROME(0): Required bandwidth is not available. (552500800 > 461000000)
(II) CHROME(0): Not using mode "1920x1200" (mode clock too high)

apparently, the driver doesn't believe the hardware can run that fast
(it can, and used to).

Is there an option to override the maximum bandwidth so this will work
again?

Thanks,

-Philip
