Currently, the driver is being heavily reworked for KMS and RandR
support. Then the kernel module will need to be updated for DRI2
support. Then the Mesa driver will need to be revived and updated for
DRI2 and Chrome9 support will need to be added to it or a new Gallium3D
driver for all the chipsets will need to be written. All of this with
very limited manpower, so unless some motivated developers suddenly
appear, I wouldn't hold my breath for Chrome9 3D.
