I'd try fiddling with BIOS IRQ-allocating settings and booting with 
various pci= kernel command line options before using DisableIRQ. It's 
worth checking dmesg for any suggestions, or try pci=noacpi or 
pci=routeirq or pci=biosirq or others mentioned in 
linux/Documentation/kernel-parameters.txt
