 The vesa log is not really useful. I would really like to see the xorg log
 using the openchrome driver, with no X configuration, either from Fedora
 or from latest trunk (which are very close). The error message from the
 log with an xorg conf is not telling much and may be masking the real
 error. Btw, when you say that "the driver is loading but doesn't appear to
 be working properly", what are the symptoms ? black screen ? crash ?
 something else ?
