New description:

 opechrome does not work (screen with bars and lines) even though the
 driver seems to be loaded correctly.

 Tried with Debian Squeeze.
 I followed the documented troubleshooting.

 From the dmesg  I see:
 {{{
 [    0.877342] Linux agpgart interface v0.103
 [    0.877398] agpgart-amd64 0000:00:00.0: AGP bridge [1106/0336]
 [    0.882748] agpgart-amd64 0000:00:00.0: AGP aperture is 128M @
 0xd0000000
 [   14.455711] [drm] Initialized drm 1.1.0 20060810
 [   14.466865] [drm] Initialized via 2.11.1 20070202 for 0000:01:00.0 on
 minor 0
 [   14.571690] agpgart-amd64 0000:00:00.0: AGP 3.5 bridge
 [   14.571716] agpgart-amd64 0000:00:00.0: putting AGP V3 device into 8x
 mode
 }}}
 From the Xorg log I see:
 {{{
 (==) Matched openchrome as autoconfigured driver 0
 (II) LoadModule: "openchrome"
 (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/openchrome_drv.so
 (II) Module openchrome: vendor="http://openchrome.org/"
 (!!) For support, please refer to http://www.openchrome.org/.
 }}}
 In the attachment you can see the complete dmesg output and the xorg log.
 Please let me know about any question may be needed to clairy the issue or
 about any further log may be required.
