[Openchrome-users] Switching resolution from 1280x1024 to 1024x768

Hi all ! I'm trying to switch my screen resolution from 1280x1024
(works good) to 1024x768. The symbols on the taskbar and the fonts
there get enlarged as supposed, but I'm facing serveral problems with
the font size in other applications (for example ROXTERM, icewm). The
font size is not enlarged or even reduced (e.g. mc) and the fonts are
displayed like being bold. I get this effect on ConnochaetOS Linux
(Kernel 2.6.32, gtk2) as well as on antiX/Debian-Wheezy. Both distris
show no problems on another PC with radeon driver.
The chip is a VIA CN700 on a Igel WInstra 4210 Thin Client.
Any suggestions what
I can try to fix the font sizes on 1024x768 ? Thanks !
