These are the bugs I am aware as of OpenChrome Version 0.5.
I hope to fix one or two for Version 0.6.

* Resume from ACPI S3 State or Suspend to RAM (STR) will cause a hang

This was observed with the following motherboards.

- VIA Embedded EPIA-CL motherboard (CLE266 chipset)
- VIA Embedded EPIA-M motherboard (CLE266 chipset)
- Foxconn 400M01-G-6L motherboard (KM400 chipset)
- Quanta IL1 laptop (VX800 chipset)

* Resume from ACPI S3 State or Suspend to RAM (STR) will not cause
a hang, but LVDS flat panel screen is lost or gets messed up

This was observed with the following computer.

- Sylvania gnet 13001 netbook (VX700 chipset)

* There is no cursor on the screen in Lubuntu 10.04

This bug affects CLE266, KM400, KM400A, KN400, and P4M800 chipsets.
It is related to the lack of hardware cursor support in OpenChrome
code for these chipsets at the present time. This bug does not affect
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

* Window title bar for LXTerminal is not displayed correctly in
  Lubuntu 10.04

This bug likely affects every supported chipset.

* DVI does not work

Your DVI might be going through a Silicon Image or Chrontel TMDS
transmitter. They are not currently supported by OpenChrome.

* DVI and flat panel do not work simultaneously in clone mode

This has been observed with Sylvania gnet 13001 netbook (i.e., laptops
based on VIA Technologies NanoBook reference design).

* TV out screen is flickering to the point it is useless

This was observed with the following motherboard.

- VIA Embedded EPIA-M motherboard (CLE266 chipset with VT1622A TV encoder)

* The color of the screen looks weird in 16-bit color mode

This bug likely affects every supported chipset.
This was observed with the following computer.

- Epic Learning Epic 1314 laptop (MSI VR321 laptop equivalent,
  VN896 chipset)

* 8-bit color mode screen is completely messed up

This bug likely affects every supported chipset.
This was observed with the following computer.

- Epic Learning Epic 1314 laptop (MSI VR321 laptop equivalent,
  VN896 chipset)

* Resume from ACPI S3 State or Suspend to RAM (STR) will cause the
  mouse cursor to disappear

This was observed with the following computer.

- Epic Learning Epic 1314 laptop (MSI VR321 laptop equivalent,
  VN896 chipset)

This can be somewhat worked around by using a VGA monitor simultaneously
or activating software cursor.

* After resuming from ACPI S3 State, putting the computer into terminal
mode will cause a freeze

This bug likely affects every supported chipset.

* After resuming from ACPI S3 State, the computer will not shut down or
  restart the OS

This was observed with the following computer.

- Epic Learning Epic 1314 laptop (MSI VR321 laptop equivalent,
  VN896 chipset)

* Resume from ACPI S3 State or Suspend to RAM (STR) will cause a
hang in Xubuntu 14.04, but not Lubuntu 12.04 or 10.04

This was observed with the following computer.

- VIA Embedded EPIA-M830 motherboard (VX800 chipset)

* The terminal mode screen is totally messed up in Puppy Linux 5.7.1

This bug likely affects every supported chipset.

* Not having viafb (VIA Tecnologies IGP frame buffer driver) causes
  a freeze during OS boot

This was observed on Arch Linux using Linux kernel Version 4.4 and 4.5.
This bug likely affects every supported chipset.

* The display coming out of DVI will complain about having a
  non-standard screen resolution (i.e., 1601 X 1201)

This was observed with the following computers.

- Wyse Vx0 thin client (CN700 chipset)
- Wyse Cx0 thin client (VX855 chipset)

* Putting two 1024 x 768 resolution screens side by side (VGA + DVI) will
cause one screen to get messed up

This was observed with the following computer.

- Wyse Vx0 thin client (CN700 chipset)
