Hi Dave and everyone,

I'm also looking into attending LGM2, and I'd love to help preparing a
OFLB presentation and font BoF. If we have experienced designers there,
maybe we can even organize some kind of tutorial, what do you think?

Sounds like a great opportunity to move our community forward.

BTW, the upcoming DebConf (Debian Conference) is probably going to have
a talk/BoF on open fonts and the growing community around open font
design and packaging. Members of the Debian font task force (to which I
belong) will get together and work on getting more open fonts into the
Debian archive.

This time around the Debconf takes place in Edinburgh, Scotland from the
17th to the 23th of June. Please come along if you can. More details at
