[OpenFontLibrary] @font-face, is it really needed for font preview?

Indeed, that would be very useful for both review of existing packages
(like we have in Debian were we currently use "convert" from imagemagick
which is rather limited in coverage) and for providing specimens in
relation with the packages.

Most font previewers I've come across use imlib2 from Rasterman, maybe
we can ask him to look into that?
OTOH I'm wondering if pango-view or fontimage could be extended...
