I had the idea it was just a job for Fontforge and finally wrote a Python 
script for that. I did not test it really, but well, hope that helps :) It’s 
in the Fontmatrix repository so you can run it from there (up to date trunk 
with Python support) or just adapt it to run it outside FM.
