About TTC fonts, see Irianis and romande:

It is possible to include all the fonts of a familly in only one file.

But some programs have troubles with them.

The TTC can be compiled by using the same weight of fonts with same glyphs.

"Irianis TTC regular" as an example uses the normal regular and the
OSSC regular font, and soon the math regular font too.
