Drupal fanboyism is just what we needed here.
There are many (not zillions) of plug-ins for Drupal indeed, but a lot
of them are abandoned and never rewritten for current stable, many of
the ones actually written for current stable are alpha and beta
quality, often lacking essential features.
And you also need a dedicated server for Drupal, especially if you
expect lots of hits a day.
I'm not against Drupal, but I evaluated it for my projects and the
decision was a strict "no".
