For those not following the progress of Open Font Libary development
on Launchpad, I wanted to bring one blueprint in particular to your
attention:

https://blueprints.launchpad.net/openfontlibrary/+spec/font-face-generator

Summary: Every font profile page and list of fonts should be able to
display font samples using the @font-face css property. This requires
generating webfont files that are compatible across various platforms.
In practice, this means generating .eot, .svg, .woff, and subsetted
.ttf files. This should happen whenever a new font file is uploaded.

The blueprint links to a number of resources for existing tools to
generate webfonts.

The question I want to pose to this list is, what is the best solution
for OFLB to generate webfonts on the fly for all uploaded font files?
