Hopefully there will be some responses.

I will be attending a motion picture post production conference 
(Hollywood Post Alliance, http://www.hpaonline.com/) later this month 
and will try to remember to mention this issue to people I talk to. 
I will be hosting two one-hour breakfast "roundtables" to discuss 
GraphicsMagick and open source as applied to post-production.
