Welcome on list Pablo,
most profilers I tested use some way to adjust just the gamma curves on
the window server. This is theoretical possible with linux too. But it
would require some native X extensions. About the Colorvision instrument I
dont know.
For most users, I am afraid, it will not be very practical.
Nethertheless it would be nice for testers.
