[Openicc] Argyl, Ubuntu, Spyder2, please help

Hmm, I seem to have a most embarrassing error in my initial installation 
from binary.  I used V60 patch over V70 install.

I decided to carefully retrace my steps, assuming I'd done something 
stupid, and lo and behold - the patch.

So I will post results soon - things look promising and I am just red-faced.

Please advise, do I only send email to responders or the whole list or
