The Wiki appears to have been down for several days.

Are applications still using their own directories, such as
/usr/local/share/Scribus/profiles ?

Note that Argyll dispwin supports setting the X11 _ICC_PROFILE property
as well set setting the display calibration. (The next release
will allow doing this in one hit). It's NOT currently tied to any notification
system though (ie D-Bus).
