[Openicc] diagramming status

This may not be relevant, strictly, but I got Xrite to donate an
Eyeone spectro to Robert, and I have asked him in return to inform me
of how he gets the thing to do something for him. Robert seems a good
non-naive test case to me, and documenting how he gets off the ground
may save others time later.
