For those running KDE 4.x who are interested in having a look at the KDE
Kolor-Manager app it can be downloaded using:

svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/playground/graphics/kolor-manager

There is a README file that has build instructions in the source tree.

It is not mature at this point but the monitor related stuff works nicely and
I think KDE users interested in CM should have this installed if for no other
reason than to have a nice GUI to configure your monitor CM settings.

It can also configure everything that Oyranos currently does. That is it will
do everything that you can do with oyranos-monitor and oyranos-config/oyranos-
config-fltk It also has some code related to configuring CM stuff for
scanners and printers but this currently does not so anything other than
saving the configuration info since this functionality is not supported by
oyranos or any of the external systems at this time.

To get everything working you also need oyranos, xcalib and icc-examin
installed. icc-examin is detected a runtime so this is not a build time
dependency and it can be added at any time. You will also need to add a call
to oyranos-monitor to your autostart setup (IE. System Settings -> Advanced ->
Autostart -> Add Program) so that your LUTs are loaded and the _ICC_PROFILE
x11 atoms are set when KDE starts.
