I have also spent some time to make ookala-mcf wx-unicode and Mac 
compatible and successfully built at least the hpdc_util command line 
tool and the necessary libraries for Mac OS X.

Maybe it's a good idea to set up a separate SourceForge project as HP 
apparently has "no plans to do more than what's currently available" 
(see <http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7562607>).
