That's exactly why I qualified my statement with "fairly up to date
linux". I'm sure the number of embedded UNIX and Linux boxes must push
Linux up into the majority, but in the concept of a user interacting
with a CMS I'm only really talking about anyone with a Linux distro
installed that's less that a couple of years old. If you're using
linux on a set top box / mobile phone and you're doing CMS it likely
you're already doing the hardcoded color correction on the GPU or in
hardware and have no user tweakable settings.
