Okay, how about this for starters:

In "General OpenICC Paths", just after "/usr/share/color as typical
for Linux packages."

An optional path /var/lib/color is also supported. This is required to
store the default local machine profiles when home directories are
encrypted and not even accessable by the root user. /usr/share/color
is not suitable for this as this may be shared between different
computers or mounted read only.
