Hello all,
I just done a search about Krita and color management and found:

"Pigment is the Color Manipulation System library for KOffice, this
include but it is not limited to full Calligra/Color management
<http://community.kde.org/Calligra/Color_management>... "
http://community.kde.org/Calligra/Libs/Pigment

"As stated on the Calligra/Pigment
<http://community.kde.org/index.php?title=Calligra/Pigment&action=edit&redlink=1>
page, all KOffice applications will do Calligra/Color management
<http://community.kde.org/Calligra/Color_management>. So the question is
how are we going to actually pull this off...."
http://community.kde.org/Calligra/Libs/Pigment/How_to_Implement

Does this entries mean, that all applications of KOffice / Calligra
Suite will make use of an ICC based color model allowing supporting both
ICC based RGB, ICC based CMYK and Lab color definitions ?

If yes, could somebody explain, how far is this project beside Krita
(e.g. Words, Karbon and Stages ?)

Thanks and best regards
Jan-Peter
